Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCCDCDAA

When those renoumed noble Peres of GreeceA
thrugh stubborn pride amongst the m selues did iarB
forgetfull of the famous golden fleeceA
then Orpheus with his harp theyr strife did barB
But this continuall cruell ciuill warreB
the which my selfe against my selfe doe makeC
whilest my weak powres of passions warreid arreB
no skill can stint nor reason can aslakeC
But when in hand my tunelesse harp I takeC
then doe I more augment my foes despightD
and griefe renew and passions doe awakeC
to battaile fresh against my selfe to fightD
Mongst whome the more I seeke to settle peaceA
the more I fynd their malice to increaceA
