great shame it is to leaue like one afrayd | A |
so fayre a peece for one repulse so light | A |

such haughty mynds enur'd to hardy fight | A |
disdayne to yield vnto the first assay | C |
Bring therefore all the forces that ye may | D |
and lay incessant battery to her heart | A |
playnts prayers vowes ruth sorrow and dismay | D |
those engins can the proudest loue conuert | A |
And if those fayle fall downe and dy before her | E |
