Sonnet Lxxx Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBABAACACAA

AFter so long a race as I haue runA
Through Faery land which those six books co m pileB
giue leaue to rest me being halfe fordonneA
and gather to my selfe new breath awhileB
Then as a steed refreshed after toyleB
out of my prison I will breake anewA
and stoutly will that second worke assoyleB
with strong endeuour and attention dewA
Till then giue leaue to me in pleasant mewA
to sport my muse and sing my loues sweet praiseC
the contemplation of whose heauenly hewA
my spirit to an higher pitch will rayseC
But let her prayses yet be low and meaneA
fit for the handmayd of the Faery QueeneA
