Sonnet Lii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCCBCBDD

SO oft as homeward I from her departA
I goe lyke one that hauing lost the fieldB
is prisoner led away with heauy hartA
despoyld of warlike armes and knowen shieldB
So doe I now my selfe a prisoner yeeldB
to sorrow and to solitary paineC
from presence of my dearest deare exyldeB
longwhile alone in languor to remaineC
There let no thought of ioy or pleasure vaineC
dare to approch that may my solace breedB
but sudden dumps and drery sad disdayneC
of all worlds gladnesse more my torment feedB
So I her absens will my penaunce makeD
that of her presens I my meed may takeD
