Sonnet Iiii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABAAACACCDCEFFNEw yeare forth looking out of Ianus gate | A |
Doth seeme to promise hope of new delight | B |
and bidding th'old Adieu his passed date | A |
bids all old thoughts to die in dumpish spright | A |
And calling forth out of sad Winters night | A |
fresh loue that long hath slept in cheerlesse bower | C |
wils him awake and soone about him dight | A |
his wanton wings and darts of deadly power | C |
For lusty spring now in his timely howre | C |
is ready to come forth him to receiue | D |
and warnes the Earth with diuers colord flowre | C |
to decke hir selfe and her faire mantle weaue | E |
Then you faire flowre in who m fresh youth doth raine | F |
prepare your selfe new loue to entertaine | F |
