Poem 19 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAAAAABBBAABCCCC

LEt no lamenting cryes nor dolefull tearesA
Be heard all night within nor yet withoutB
Ne let false whispers breeding hidden fearesA
Breake gentle sleepe with misconceiued doutB
Let no deluding dreames nor dreadful sightsA
Make sudden sad affrightsA
Ne let housefyres nor lightnings helpelesse harmesA
Ne led the Ponke nor other euill sprightsA
Ne let mischiuous witches with theyr charmesA
Ne let hob Goblins names whose sence we see notB
Fray vs with things that be notB
Let not the shriech Oule nor the Storke be heardB
Nor the night Rauen that still deadly yelsA
Nor damned ghosts cald vp with mighty spelsA
Nor griefly vultures make vs once affeardB
Ne let th'unpleasant Quyre of Frogs still crokingC
Make vs to wish theyr chokingC
Let none of these theyr drery accents singC
Ne let the woods them answer nor theyr eccho ringC
