Once upon a timeA
The climbing beganB
It started from the first floor and forwarded to the th floorC
The floor where I met a tall dark glass of wineD
Well built but yet shy like the vineD
Our meeting felt like it was Divine for it was so perfect and definedE
And then together we moved to the th floorC
The floor were everything came crashing and our bond came to an endF
-
Once upon a timeA
The climbing continuedG
Right on the st floor I met this short fair geniusH
Voice that captures the souls and brain that inspires yet unsecuredI
So much pride in his asset and then nothing was enough so I left to meet a tall proud branch of entitlement and gamesJ
So much lies coming from a clean on the outside hose yet so dark in the insideK
Has no respect for my kind but yet still wants us around like he is worth itL
Not long I met this average dark chocolate with so much love in his eyesM
Shedding support and hope as he speaksN
I couldn't help it but let him stain my whiteO
But then on my way to the nd floor hatred anger guilt and disgust started shedding from my endF
I couldn't help it but left in a hurry to the nd floorC
-
Once upon a timeA
The climbing continuedG
Right on my way to the nd floor I met this average dark familiar and reserved pen whose ink he hasn't shedP
Very happy to meet me so he sheds his ink on my paper for the first time and it felt perfectQ
While walking to the rd floor my reserved pen started to crackR
Writes today and dries tomorrowS
Gradually he disappeared living me bored and lonely Then I met an old friend the short fair geniusH
He found his way back into my heart and we decided to continue the journey together believing it fate that brought us backR
Then there came the storm The storm that almost separated us yet we survivedT
We had our flaws and accepted it hoping to get through life togetherU
We supported each other and then something happenedV
Something that lost our faith in each other and destroyed usH
Something with good intentions but my proud genius took it for destruction and so I met this short dark cute rich fortune but a confused liar in disguiseM
It felt like by his side was the right place for me but deep down I knew everything was wrong but the heart wants what it's wants anywaysW
I left the proud genius to continue the journey with this confused liar to the rd floorC
-
Once upon a timeA
The climbing continuedG
On the rd floor my journey continued in confusion and painX
It seems right but doesn't seem rightO
A stage where Love and emotion took the lead and I couldn't decide anymoreC
I will choose to leave but still stayY
On my way to the th floor I decided to leave but deep down I didn't want toZ
I then stopped communication and I meet my dark chocolate againA2
He showed support and understanding this time but I couldn't stay with himB2
I wished I could but I was there hoping things became right with me and my rich fortune but confused liarU
-
Once upon a timeA
The climbing continuedG
On the th floor the feeling became overwhelming so I ran back to him again and this time the pain increased and I feel sorry for betraying my dark chocolateC2
Now I am left in deep regret on this th floor right in between my dark chocolate and the confused liarU
Only God knows what awaits me on this journey while I continue to climbA

Poet's note: This poem was written based on my experience with men in my life. I wrote it for myself. The experience is something I can't share with someone so I just share with my note to relieve myself of the burden of carrying it.
