BROKEN HEART
Why did you leave?
leaving me in pain
causing my heart to reave
so tell me, what do you gain?
My eyes flowing with tears
soaking my pillow
Everyday I wake up to my greatest fears
crying, making my eyes billow
I gave you everything
I withheld nothing
for you, I was caring
but you turned out so scary
My greatest fears now hunt me
this wasn't my plan for me
I trouble like the storm to the waters
but you are never bothered
I trusted and gave you my whole
but you betrayed and threw me down
leaving in me a deep hole
all day will I continue to frown?
No!
I gat pick myself up, put myself together and move on

Poet's note: This piece was written out of betrayal by the one I love. It reminds me of the things I have survived and the lesson learned.
