This Desirable Mansion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH

THE long white windows blankly stareA
Across the sodden tangled grassB
Weed covered are the pathways whereA
No footsteps ever passB
No whispers wake no kisses dieC
No laughter thrills the dwindling flowersD
Only the night hears sigh on sighC
From ghosts of long dead hoursD

-
None come here now to laugh or weepE
The spider spins on stair and hallF
And round the windows shadows creepE
And loathly creatures crawlF
Cold is the hearth the door is fastG
No guest the silent threshold seesH
Save ghosts out of the happy pastG
And one who is as theseH
