The Nest Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGH IJI

That was the skylark we heardA
Singing so highB
The little quivering birdA
We saw and the skyB
The earth was drenched with sunC
The sky was drenched with songD
We lay in the grass and listenedE
Long and long and longD
-
I said 'What a spell it isF
Has made her riseG
To pour out her world of blissH
In that world of skies '-
You said 'What a spell must passI
Between sky and plainJ
Since she finds in this world of grassI
Her nest again '-
