The Ghost Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBCCB DEDEDDE

NOW that the curtains are drawn closeA
Now that the fire burns lowB
And on her narrow bed the roseC
Is stark laid out in snowB
Now that the wind of winter blowsC
Bid my heart say if still it knowsC
The step it used to knowB
-
-
I hear the silken gown you wearD
Sweep on the gallery floorE
Your step comes up the wide dark stairD
And pauses at my doorE
My heart with the old hope flowers fairD
That shrivels to the old despairD
For you come in no moreE
