The Eternal Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABB CDCDD EFEEF EGEEEG

Your dear desired graceA
Your hands your lips of redB
The wonder of your perfect faceA
Will fade like sweet rose petals shedB
When you are deadB
-
Your beautiful hairC
Dust in the dust will lieD
But not the light I worship thereC
The gold the sunshine crowns you byD
This will not dieD
-
Your beautiful eyesE
Will be closed up with clayF
But all the magic they compriseE
The hopes the dreams the ecstasiesE
Pass not awayF
-
All I desire and seeE
Will be a carrion thingG
But all that you have been to meE
Is and can never cease to beE
O Grave where is thy victoryE
Where Death thy stingG
