Teint Neutre Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EBEB

WIDE downs all gray with gray of clouds roofed overA
Chill fields stripped naked of their gown of grainB
Small fields of rain wet grass and close grown cloverA
Wet wind blown trees and over all the rainB
-
Does memory lie For Hope her missal closesC
So far away the may and roses seemD
Ah was there ever a garden red with rosesC
Ah were you ever mine save in a dreamD
-
So long it is since Spring the skylark wakingE
Heard her own praises in his perfect strainB
Low hang the clouds the sad year's heart is breakingE
And mine my heart and over all the rainB
