Surrender Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB CDEED FGFFG

THE wild wind wails in the poplar treeA
I sit here aloneB
O heart of my heart come hither to meA
Come to me straight over land and seaA
My soul my ownB
-
-
Not now the clock's slow tick I hearC
And nothing moreD
The year is dying the leaves are sereE
No ghost of the beautiful young crowned yearE
Knocks at my doorD
-
-
But one of these nights a wild late nightF
I waiting withinG
Shall hear your hand on the latch and spiteF
Of prudence and folly and wrong and rightF
I shall let you inG
