Song Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEDADAD

A MONTH of green and tender MayA
All woods and walks awake with flowersB
Wide sunlit meadows for the dayA
And moon bathed paths for evening hoursB
A bright brief dream that had no pastC
And of the future knew no fearD
A kiss at first a sigh at lastC
Only last yearD
-
-
Another spring dim soulless woodsE
No farewell kiss no parting tearF
No stone to mark where silence broodsE
O'er the dead love we found so dearD
But oh to me the green seems greyA
The budding branches all are sereD
For sweet love's sake that died one dayA
Only last yearD
