Shepherds All And Maidens Fair Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBDED FGHGCIJK DHGHLKMK MNONIPQP

PIPE shepherds pipe the summer's ripeA
So wreathe your crooks with flowersB
The world's in tune to Love and JuneC
The days are rich in hoursB
In rosy hours in golden hoursB
Love's crown and fortune fairD
So gather gold for Love to holdE
And flowers for Love to wearD
-
Sing maidens sing A dancing ringF
Of pleasures speed your wayG
Too harsh and dry is fierce JulyH
Too maiden meek was MayG
But Love and June their old sweet tuneC
Are singing at your earI
So learn the song and troop alongJ
To meet your shepherds dearK
-
Oh Chloris fair a rose to wearD
And gold to spend have IH
When all are gay on this June dayG
You would not bid me sighH
You would not scorn a swain forlornL
Each shepherd far and nearK
Hastes to his sweet with flying feetM
As I towards my dearK
-
No maids there be in ArcadyM
But have their shepherds trueN
Must you alone despise the oneO
Who only pipes for youN
You have no ear my pipe to hearI
Though all for you it beP
And I no eyes for her who sighsQ
And only sings for meP
