Philosophy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB ACAC

The sulky sage scarce condescends to seeA
This pretty world of sun and grass and leavesB
To him 'tis all illusion only heA
Is real amid the visions he perceivesB
-
No sage am I and yet by Love's decreeA
To me the world's a masque of shadows tooC
And I a shadow also since to meA
The only real thing in life is youC
