Margaret Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBDD EFEFGHH IJIKJEE

I KNOW a garden where white lilies growA
Under the grey sweet laden apple boughsB
It is a garden where the roses blowA
And honeysuckle covers half the houseC
O happy garden do you keep the vowsB
Breathed in your quiet ear beneath the roseD
Or do you tell the tale to each soft wind that blowsD
-
-
Across your grassy paths she used to strayE
She moved among you like a living flowerF
Her beauty drank your beauty every dayE
Your beauty decked her beauty every hourF
You gave her rose and lily for a dowerG
With all sweet flowers and fruits your bosom boreH
She took them all and now she comes not any moreH
-
-
O garden if you breathe such secret thingsI
To the south wind who loves you tell him thisJ
To spread the scented softness of his wingsI
And seek that other garden where she isK
And bid him bear no blossom and no kissJ
Only dear garden tell the wind to sayE
How grey the world is grown since Margaret went awayE
