In Eclipse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEGHEHE IJIJKLKM

PALE veil of mist bound round the treesA
Pale fringe of rain upon the hillsB
Cold earth cold sky and biting breezeA
That mock the withered daffodilsB
And yet so short a while agoC
The sunlight on the quickened landD
Laughed at the memory of the snowC
And we went hand in handD
-
-
Pale veil of doubt wound round my heartE
Pale fringe of tears upon your eyesF
Why did we choose the evil partE
Why did we leave our ParadiseG
There were such green and pleasant waysH
Where you and I with happy heartE
Laughed at the old unhappy daysH
And now we are apartE
-
-
Will the sun shine again some dayI
Will you forgive me and forgetJ
Chill is the east the west is grayI
And all our world with tears is wetJ
Ah love the world is wide and coldK
The weary skies are wild with rainL
Give me at least your hand to holdK
Till the sun shines againM
