Bridal Eve Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GBGB

GOOD NIGHT my Heart my Heart good nightA
Oh good and dear and fairB
With lips of life and eyes of lightA
And roses in your hairB
-
To morrow brings the other crownC
The orange blossoms SweetD
And then the rose will be cast downC
With lilies at your feetD
-
But in your soul a garden standsE
Where fair the white rose blowsF
God teach my foolish clumsy handsE
The way to tend my roseF
-
That in the white rose garden stillG
The lily may bloom fairB
God help my heart and soul and willG
To keep the lily thereB
