A Portrait Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH

LIKE the sway of the silver birch in the breeze of dawnA
Is her dainty wayB
Like the gray of a twilight sky or a starlit lawnA
Are her eyes of grayB
Like the clouds in their moving whiteC
Is her breast's soft stirD
And white as the moon and brightC
Is the soul of herD
-
-
Like murmur of woods in spring ere the leaves be greenE
Like the voice of a birdF
That sings by a stream that sings through the night unseenE
So her voice is heardF
And the secret her eyes withholdG
In my soul abidesH
For white as the moon and coldG
Is the heart she hidesH
