A Parting Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEEFGHICJAADJ

I WILL not wake you dear no tears shall creepA
To chill the still bed where you lie asleepA
No cry no word shall break the sanctityB
Of the great silence where God lets you lieC
I will not tease your grave with flower or stoneD
You are tired my heart you shall be left aloneD
And even the kisses that my lips must layE
Upon the mould of the triumphant clayE
Shall be so soft like those a mother laysF
Upon her sleeping baby's little faceG
You will not feel my kisses will not hearH
You are tired sleep on I will not wake you dearI
But when the good day comes you will hear me cryC
'Ah make a little place where I can lie 'J
And half awakened you will feel me creepA
Into the folds of your familiar sleepA
And draw them round us with a tender moanD
'How could you let me sleep so long alone 'J
