Willard Fluke Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJIKLGMNOPQ

My wife lost her healthA
And dwindled until she weighed scarce ninety poundsB
Then that woman whom the menC
Styled Cleopatra came alongD
And we we married onesE
All broke our vows myself among the restF
Years passed and one by oneG
Death claimed them all in some hideous formH
And I was borne along by dreamsI
Of God's particular grace for meJ
And I began to write write write reams on reamsI
Of the second coming of ChristK
Then Christ came to me and saidL
Go into the church and stand before the congregationG
And confess your sinM
But just as I stood up and began to speakN
I saw my little girl who was sitting in the front seatO
My little girl who was born blindP
After that all is blacknessQ
