Before me William Merival coronerE
For the said County viewing here the bodyF
Of Elenor Murray lying dead uponG
The oath of six good lawful men the sameH
Of the said County being duly swornI
To inquire for the said people into allJ
The circumstances of her death the saidK
Elenor Murray and by whom the sameH
Was brought about and in what manner whenL
And where she came to death do say uponG
Their oaths that Elenor Murray lying deadK
In the office of the coroner at LeRoyB
Came to her death on August th aforesaidK
Upon the east shore of the Illinois RiverE
A mile above Starved Rock from syncopeF
While in the company of Barrett BaysM
Who held her in his arms when she was seizedN
And should have laid her down when she was seizedN
To give her heart a chance to resume its beatO
