The Circuit Judge Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDAEFGHIJFAD

Take note passers by of the sharp erosionsA
Eaten in my head stone by the wind and rainB
Almost as if an intangible Nemesis or hatredC
Were marking scores against meD
But to destroy and not preserve my memoryD
I in life was the Circuit judge a maker of notchesA
Deciding cases on the points the lawyers scoredE
Not on the right of the matterF
O wind and rain leave my head stone aloneG
For worse than the anger of the wrongedH
The curses of the poorI
Was to lie speechless yet with vision clearJ
Seeing that even Hod Putt the murdererF
Hanged by my sentenceA
Was innocent in soul compared with meD
