Robert Fulton Tanner Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIGJ

If a man could bite the giant handA
That catches and destroys himB
As I was bitten by a ratC
While demonstrating my patent trapD
In my hardware store that dayE
But a man can never avenge himselfF
On the monstrous ogre LifeG
You enter the room that's being bornH
And then you must live work out your soulI
Of the cross current in lifeG
Which Bring honor to the dead who lived in shameJ
