Rev. Lemuel Wiley Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJ

I preached four thousand sermonsA
I conducted forty revivalsB
And baptized many convertsC
Yet no deed of mineD
Shines brighter in the memory of the worldE
And none is treasured more by meF
Look how I saved the Blisses from divorceG
And kept the children free from that disgraceH
To grow up into moral men and womenI
Happy themselves a credit to the villageJ
