Minerva Jones Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEAFAGHIJ

I am Minerva the village poetessA
Hooted at jeered at by the Yahoos of the streetB
For my heavy body cock eye and rolling walkC
And all the more when Butch WeldyD
Captured me after a brutal huntE
He left me to my fate with Doctor MeyersA
And I sank into death growing numb from the feet upF
Like one stepping deeper and deeper into a stream of iceA
Will some one go to the village newspaperG
And gather into a book the verses I wroteH
I thirsted so for loveI
I hungered so for lifeJ
