Lyman King Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLLM| You may think passer by that Fate | A |
| Is a pit fall outside of yourself | B |
| Around which you may walk by the use of foresight | C |
| And wisdom | D |
| Thus you believe viewing the lives of other men | E |
| As one who in God like fashion bends over an anthill | F |
| Seeing how their difficulties could be avoided | G |
| But pass on into life | H |
| In time you shall see Fate approach you | I |
| In the shape of your own image in the mirror | J |
| Or you shall sit alone by your own hearth | K |
| And suddenly the chair by you shall hold a guest | L |
| And you shall know that guest | L |
| And read the authentic message of his eyes | M |
