Lyman King Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLLM

You may think passer by that FateA
Is a pit fall outside of yourselfB
Around which you may walk by the use of foresightC
And wisdomD
Thus you believe viewing the lives of other menE
As one who in God like fashion bends over an anthillF
Seeing how their difficulties could be avoidedG
But pass on into lifeH
In time you shall see Fate approach youI
In the shape of your own image in the mirrorJ
Or you shall sit alone by your own hearthK
And suddenly the chair by you shall hold a guestL
And you shall know that guestL
And read the authentic message of his eyesM
