Lyman King Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLLMYou may think passer by that Fate | A |
Is a pit fall outside of yourself | B |
Around which you may walk by the use of foresight | C |
And wisdom | D |
Thus you believe viewing the lives of other men | E |
As one who in God like fashion bends over an anthill | F |
Seeing how their difficulties could be avoided | G |
But pass on into life | H |
In time you shall see Fate approach you | I |
In the shape of your own image in the mirror | J |
Or you shall sit alone by your own hearth | K |
And suddenly the chair by you shall hold a guest | L |
And you shall know that guest | L |
And read the authentic message of his eyes | M |
