Lydia Puckett Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHAF

Knowlt Hoheimer ran away to the warA
The day before Curl TrenaryB
Swore out a warrant through Justice ArnettC
For stealing hogsD
But that's not the reason he turned a soldierE
He caught me running with Lucius AthertonF
We quarreled and I told him never againG
To cross my pathH
Then he stole the hogs and went to the warA
Back of every soldier is a womanF
