Le Roy Goldman Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIHJKLMHH

What will you do when you come to dieA
If all your life long you have rejected JesusB
And know as you lie there He is not your friendC
Over and over I said I the revivalistD
Ah yes but there are friends and friendsE
And blessed are you say I who know all nowF
You who have lost ere you passG
A father or mother or old grandfather or motherH
Some beautiful soul that lived life stronglyI
And knew you all through and loved you everH
Who would not fail to speak for youJ
And give God an intimate view of your soulK
As only one of your flesh could do itL
That is the hand your hand will reach forM
To lead you along the corridorH
To the court where you are a strangerH
