Jonas Keene Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJ

Why did Albert Schirding kill himselfA
Trying to be County Superintendent of SchoolsB
Blest as he was with the means of lifeC
And wonderful children bringing him honorD
Ere he was sixtyE
If even one of my boys could have run a news standF
Or one of my girls could have married a decent manG
I should not have walked in the rainH
And jumped into bed with clothes all wetI
Refusing medical aidJ
