Jennie M'grew Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMCN

Not where the stairway turns in the darkA
A hooded figure shriveled under a flowing cloakB
Not yellow eyes in the room at nightC
Staring out from a surface of cobweb grayD
And not the flap of a condor wingE
When the roar of life in your ears beginsF
As a sound heard never beforeG
But on a sunny afternoonH
By a country roadI
Where purple rag weeds bloom along a straggling fenceJ
And the field is gleaned and the air is stillK
To see against the sun light something blackL
Like a blot with an iris rimM
That is the sign to eyes of second sightC
And that I sawN
