Young idealists broken warriors | F |
Hobbling on one crutch of hope | G |
Souls that stake their all on the truth | H |
Losers of worlds at heaven's bidding | I |
Flocked about me and followed my voice | J |
As the savior of the County | C |
But Solomon won the nomination | A |
And then I faced about | K |
And rallied my followers to his standard | L |
And made him victor made him King | I |
Of the Golden Mountain with the door | M |
Which closed on my heels just as I entered | L |
Flattered by Solomon's invitation | A |
To be the County board's secretary | C |
And out in the cold stood all my followers | F |
