Georgine Sand Miner Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCDEFGHIJKLMNAOPGA QRSTU

A Step Mother drove me from home embittering meA
A squaw man a flaneur and dilettante took my virtueB
For years I was his mistress no one knewB
I learned from him the parasite cunningC
With which I moved with the bluffs like a flea on a dogD
All the time I was nothing but very private with different menE
Then Daniel the radical had me for yearsF
His sister called me his mistressG
And Daniel wrote me Shameful word soiling our beautiful loveH
But my anger coiled preparing its fangsI
My Lesbian friend next took a handJ
She hated Daniel's sisterK
And Daniel despised her midget husbandL
And she saw a chance for a poisonous thrustM
I must complain to the wife of Daniel's pursuitN
But before I did that I begged him to fly to London with meA
Why not stay in the city just as we have he askedO
Then I turned submarine and revenged his repulseP
In the arms of my dilettante friend Then up to the surfaceG
Bearing the letter that Daniel wrote meA
To prove my honor was all intact showing it to his wifeQ
My Lesbian friend and everyoneR
If Daniel had only shot me deadS
Instead of stripping me naked of liesT
A harlot in body and soulU
