Fletcher Mcgee Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIBJKLMINBNOP QRPS

She took my strength by minutesA
She took my life by hoursB
She drained me like a fevered moonC
That saps the spinning worldD
The days went by like shadowsE
The minutes wheeled like starsF
She took the pity from my heartG
And made it into smilesH
She was a hunk of sculptor's clayI
My secret thoughts were fingersB
They flew behind her pensive browJ
And lined it deep with painK
They set the lips and sagged the cheeksL
And drooped the eye with sorrowM
My soul had entered in the clayI
Fighting like seven devilsN
It was not mine it was not hersB
She held it but its strugglesN
Modeled a face she hatedO
And a face I feared to seeP
I beat the windows shook the boltsQ
I hid me in a cornerR
And then she died and haunted meP
And hunted me for lifeS
