Doctor Meyers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFCCEGCDCD

No other man unless it was Doc HillA
Did more for people in this town than lB
And all the weak the halt the improvidentC
And those who could not pay flocked to meD
I was good hearted easy Doctor MeyersE
I was healthy happy in comfortable fortuneF
Blest with a congenial mate my children raisedC
All wedded doing well in the worldC
And then one night Minerva the poetessE
Came to me in her trouble cryingG
I tried to help her out she diedC
They indicted me the newspapers disgraced meD
My wife perished of a broken heartC
And pneumonia finished meD
