Daniel M'cumber Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHCIJKLMDNAO

When I went to the city Mary McNeelyA
I meant to return for you yes I didB
But Laura my landlady's daughterC
Stole into my life somehow and won me awayD
Then after some years whom should I meetE
But Georgine Miner from Niles a sproutF
Of the free love Fourierist gardens that flourishedG
Before the war all over OhioH
Her dilettante lover had tired of herC
And she turned to me for strength and solaceI
She was some kind of a crying thingJ
One takes in one's arms and all at onceK
It slimes your face with its running noseL
And voids its essence all over youM
Then bites your hand and springs awayD
And there you stand bleeding and smelling to heavenN
Why Mary McNeely I was not worthyA
To kiss the hem of your robeO
