Daisy Fraser Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIDJKLMNOPQR

Did you ever hear of Editor WhedonA
Giving to the public treasury any of the money he receivedB
For supporting candidates for officeC
Or for writing up the canning factoryD
To get people to investE
Or for suppressing the facts about the bankF
When it was rotten and ready to breakG
Did you ever hear of the Circuit JudgeH
Helping anyone except the Q railroadI
Or the bankers Or did Rev Peet or Rev SibleyD
Give any part of their salary earned by keeping stillJ
Or speaking out as the leaders wished them to doK
To the building of the water worksL
But I Daisy Fraser who always passedM
Along the street through rows of nods and smilesN
And caughs and words such as there she goesO
Never was taken before Justice ArnettP
Without contributing ten dollars and costsQ
To the school fund of Spoon RiverR
