Andy The Night-watch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQR

In my Spanish cloakA
And old slouch hatB
And overshoes of feltC
And Tyke my faithful dogD
And my knotted hickory caneE
I slipped about with a bull's eye lanternF
From door to door on the squareG
As the midnight stars wheeled roundH
And the bell in the steeple murmuredI
From the blowing of the windJ
And the weary steps of old Doc HillK
Sounded like one who walks in sleepL
And a far off rooster crewM
And now another is watching Spoon RiverN
As others watched before meO
And here we lie Doc Hill and IP
Where none breaks through and stealsQ
And no eye needs to guardR
