That tongue of brass had more to say | E |
Than could be spoken by a word | F |
It spoke the thoughts of honest men | G |
It whispered Destiny's intents | H |
And rang a warning loudly then | G |
To Kings of all the continents | I |

The old bell in its holy loft | J |
Where pigeons nest has ceased to swing | K |

A weary people hear it sing | K |

The bonds of slavery were burst | L |
