Love Unveiled Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAC ABDAA ABEEE ABAAB

If love had a faceA
And would not wear a veilB
We'd see the stingraysA
Behind the smiling faceA
That face of deceit veiledC
-
If love had a faceA
And would not wear a veilB
The lover to be would not be dazedD
By any face of disgraceA
Adorned in the cloak of graceA
-
If love had a faceA
And would not wear a veilB
We'll put all heart eggs in one trayE
And not grope in darkness all dayE
For a face that would betrayE
-
If love had a faceA
And would not wear a veilB
Hearts will leap for joy at the sight of that faceA
And fall into a warm embraceA
With the face of love that is without veilB
