Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKE LCMN OPPC

At each breaking dawnA
We awake to duty's callB
Foraging every flourescent treeC
To pick grist to the millD
-
Humming and buzzingE
Till our treasure is set in combsF
The Queen we serveG
The brood we nurseH
-
The nest we guardI
In a martial styleJ
Till the intruder is expelledK
With a potent stingE
-
OhL
Something bigger than the beeC
Has entered the beehive nowM
And put the colony asunderN
-
AlasO
The eusocial creaturesP
Are turned into impotent lonersP
At the mercy of the enemyC
