The Magic Flower Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDE AEAEFGFG

Through many days and many daysA
The seed of love lay hidden closeB
We walked the dusty tiresome waysA
Where never a leaf or blossom growsC
And in the darkness all the whileD
The little seed its heart uncurledE
And we by many a weary mileD
Travelled towards it round the worldE
-
To the hid centre of the mazeA
At last we came and there we foundE
O happy day O day of daysA
Twin seed leaves breaking holy groundE
We dropped life's joys a garnered sheafF
And spell bound watched still hour by hourG
Magic on magic leaf by leafF
The unfolding of our love's white flowerG
