Why East Wind Chills Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHI JKLMNO PQCBRRSTIRK

Why east wind chills and south wind coolsA
Shall not be known till windwell driesB
And west's no longer drownedC
In winds that bring the fruit and rindD
Of many a hundred fallsE
Why silk is soft and the stone woundsF
The child shall question all his daysG
Why night time rain and the breast's bloodH
Both quench his thirst he'll have a black replyI
-
When cometh Jack Frost the children askJ
Shall they clasp a comet in their fistsK
Not till from high and low their dustL
Sprinkles in children's eyes a long last sleepM
And dusk is crowded with the children's ghostsN
Shall a white answer echo from the rooftopsO
-
All things are known the stars' adviceP
Calls some content to travel with the windsQ
Though what the stars ask as they roundC
Time upon time the towers of the skiesB
Is heard but little till the stars go outR
I hear content and 'Be Content'R
Ring like a handbell through the corridorsS
And 'Know no answer ' and I knowT
No answer to the children's cryI
Of echo's answer and the man of frostR
And ghostly comets over the raised fistsK
