Find Meat On Bones Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBCADB EFBGADH IBBBHJHB KLMNOPQ EBBBARJ B

'Find meat on bones that soon have noneA
And drink in the two milked cragsB
The merriest marrow and the dregsB
Before the ladies' breasts are hagsB
And the limbs are tornC
Disturb no winding sheets my sonA
But when the ladies are cold as stoneD
Then hang a ram rose over the ragsB
-
'Rebel against the binding moonE
And the parliament of skyF
The kingcrafts of the wicked seaB
Autocracy of night and dayG
Dictatorship of sunA
Rebel against the flesh and boneD
The word of the blood the wily skinH
And the maggot no man can slay '-
-
'The thirst is quenched the hunger goneI
And my heart is cracked acrossB
My face is haggard in the glassB
My lips are withered with a kissB
My breasts are thinH
A merry girl took me for manJ
I laid her down and told her sinH
And put beside her a ram roseB
-
'The maggot that no man can killK
And the man no rope can hangL
Rebel against my father's dreamM
That out of a bower of red swineN
Howls the foul fiend to heelO
I cannot murder like a foolP
Season and sunshine grace and girlQ
Nor can I smother the sweet waking '-
-
Black night still ministers the moonE
And the sky lays down her lawsB
The sea speaks in a kingly voiceB
Light and dark are no enemiesB
But one companionA
'War on the spider and the wrenR
War on the destiny of manJ
Doom on the sun '-
Before death takes you O take back thisB
