Deaths And Entrances Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEFGHHIJ AKALMNOPPQRS ATUVWXUUUYZY

On almost the incendiary eveA
Of several near deathsB
When one at the great least of your best lovedC
And always known must leaveA
Lions and fires of his flying breathD
Of your immortal friendsE
Who'd raise the organs of the counted dustF
To shoot and sing your praiseG
One who called deepest down shall hold his peaceH
That cannot sink or ceaseH
Endlessly to his woundI
In many married London's estranging griefJ
-
On almost the incendiary eveA
When at your lips and keysK
Locking unlocking the murdered strangers weaveA
One who is most unknownL
Your polestar neighbour sun of another streetM
Will dive up to his tearsN
He'll bathe his raining blood in the male seaO
Who strode for your own deadP
And wind his globe out of your water threadP
And load the throats of shellsQ
with every cry since lightR
Flashed first across his thunderclapping eyesS
-
On almost the incendiary eveA
Of deaths and entrancesT
When near and strange wounded on London's wavesU
Have sought your single graveV
One enemy of many who knows wellW
Your heart is luminousX
In the watched dark quivering through locks and cavesU
Will pull the thunderboltsU
To shut the sun plunge mount your darkened keysU
And sear just riders backY
Until that one loved leastZ
Looms the last Samson of your zodiacY
