| Keep reaching for the flame | E |
| but it burns the same | E |
| Asking myself | F |
| How do I enjoy the day | G |
| when the clouds are constantly gray | G |
| How do I turn a tear | H |
| into a joyful cheer | I |
| I wish someone would just take | J |
| this persistent heartache | J |
| so my heart can regain it's missing part | K |
| Take away these fears | L |
| and drain this sea of tears | M |
