Sunset Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCEFFEEF

I stood among the boatsA
The sinking sun the angry sunB
Across the sullen waveC
Laid the sudden strength of his red wrathD
Like to a shaken glaiveC
Or did the sun pause in the westE
To lift a sword at meF
Or was it she or was it sheF
Rose for an instant on some crestE
And plucked the red blade from her breastE
And brandished it at meF
