So Let Them Pass, These Songs Of Mine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB AACD EEAA FFAA

So let them pass these songs of mineA
Into oblivion nor repineA
Abandoned ruins of large schemesB
Dimmed lights adrift from nobler dreamsB
-
Weak wings I sped on quests divineA
So let them pass these songs of mineA
They soar or sink ephemeralC
I care not greatly which befallD
-
For if no song I e'er had wroughtE
Still have I loved and laughed and foughtE
So let them pass these songs of mineA
I sting too hot with life to whineA
-
Still shall I struggle fail aspireF
Lose God and find Gods in the mireF
And drink dream deep life's heady wineA
So let them pass these songs of mineA
